BuntingFeedback from this client~Winter QuiltThis client had always wanted a winter themed quilt ~ all fabrics had to be animals in the winter! This particular quilt took many months to make. Just researching for the fabrics took 2 months!!! I used the design of the traditional Sampler Quilt in order to include as many fabrics as possible ~ some of the 12" blocks contain 25 pieces of fabric!
Feedback from my client:-Wedding Dress QuiltI was able to transform the stunning silk and lace into a runner measuring 31" wide x 90" long (79cm x 229cm)There was also enough to make an 18" square cushion cover, which will dress the bed beautifully.
Wedding Dress Quilt : I hand appliquéd the lace and the beautiful beading and sequins made it impossible to quilt!! So I tag quilted the entire set....which once done, I knew was the right thing to do. Yes....she loved it! : As you can see....stunning lace!

Sampler Quilt : The 4 fabrics that I used for the triangle edging, have also been used throughout the quilt, but (I think) finish it off beautifully. I am currently working on a very similar design, but this time, I'm only using pinks and sage green rose fabrics ~ as soon as it's done, I'll put photos on!Memory QuiltNew England Memory Quilt
: This is a pair of their little boys slippers ~ tricky, but I managed to include them! : My client really wanted me to incorporate both their son's hospital name tags from when they were born. As these are plastic and not waterproof, I made a little pouch from her wedding dress underskirt which is fastened with a cream button. This way, the little tags can be removed prior to washing! : This is the bow tie that her husband wore in the evening on their wedding day. : One of their favourite baby gros!
Memory Quilt : I also made a matching pillow sham. : These are the soles from my client's favourite baby gro! : This little mouse ballerina came from a favourite sleep suit.
Double Sampler QuiltEngagement QuiltInstructions were to incorporate wedding themed fabric, owls, Medieval fabric, Knights, books and music ~ all their favourites!!The quilt was edged in baby pink, lemon and powder blue as these seemed to be the accent colours and then backed in pale blue (for the groom's benefit!)
Wedding Dress Quilt"I can't tell you how thrilled I am with it - it's beautiful, and I adore it!! Thank you so much! Kind regards Lisa xxx "Sampler Quilt in lemons and whitesGuy's Quilt
Amy's Quilt : I have been told that favourite bunny and dolly have been popped in the centre babygro..which was their first !Wedding Dress Quilt
